NEW DELHI: India is ready to take on developed countries to tackle the mountain at the top of the economic superpower in the world championship in 2030, says research.
More than half of respondents (53 percent), according to a study conducted in London, an independent think-tank said the Legatum Institute, India is likely to be the first economic power in the world by 2030.
According to respondents of the survey, India is now on track to surpass the developed countries like USA, Japan, Germany and the giant fast-emerging economies of China in the next two decades.
